Pokémon Emerald: Custom Nuzlocke Challenge

Today we will be streaming Pokémon Emerald as a Custom Nuzlocke Challenge!

I will be joined in the chat room by my girlfriend Jenny who will moderate the chat, and assist me with the game.

The rules we'll be playing are:

1.) You may catch only one Pokémon per Route, Cave, Town or other Area.
2.) Catch the first Pokémon type you see, if the Pokémon is a duplicate, you may only catch the second type you see. If the second type is also a duplicate you can not catch any Pokémon in that area.
3.) You may accept Pokémon gifts, or found Pokémon in balls (such as Eevee, or fossils.)
4.) You may evolve your Pokémon or trade them with in game characters. You may catch Legendary Pokémon, but they cannot be used. Store them in the PC in a box called "LEGEND."
5.) If a Pokémon faints you must store it in the PC in a box called "CEMETARY." It is dead.
6.) If all your Pokémon faint, that's a GAME OVER.
7.) You must name all your Pokémon. (To increase emotional attachment.)
8.) If an HM is needed to progress the game you may catch a Pokémon to use the HM move or use one of your dead Pokémon, but they can not fight in battles.
9.) No restrictions on item use.
10.) The Challenge is complete when you beat the Elite Four and the Pokémon League Champion. If you want to keep playing the post-game, you may resurrect your dead Pokémon as a reward.

Twitch Broadcast Plans

Welcome to my blog where I plan to post about my Twitch broadcasts. You can find my Twitch channel at: So far I have streamed a bit of 'Pokemon Y' using a webcam, and attempted to stream 'FTL: Faster than Light' but the quality was not really very good. It seems that until I upgrade my computer I will be limited to using emulators. I am planning to create a Nuzlocke Challenge of my own and I would like to stream that. Right now it seems my best options are steaming one of the Pokemon games from the Gameboy. That would be Fire Red, Leaf Green, Ruby, Saphire, or Emerald. Once I decide what to stream I will post my plan here, and if I do some sort of challenge I will post a detailed list of rules here as well. Thanks for reading! Stay tuned!
